Smiling gothlings?! Heaven forbid!
Where is that? I'm from Chicago. It's such a small scene here I am shocked I don't know half those people, or have at least seen them around.
So am I, and I don't know them either. Doesn't mean one shouldn't collect the whole set, though.
Chicago has a scene at all? Not from what I've heard. I have a friend there that gripes about it all the time.
Tell your friend to try getting out of his parents' basement on occasion.
She hasn't lived at home in what, 15 years? She's 30 years old.
Well, he probbaly never looks into it. I mean it's not huge, and you are bound to run into people way more than once, but there is just ABOUT enough for everyone. An open daily club, another club/bar of a similar fashion, another monthly night thing (Which has been playing more and more old school stuff the past year) and not to mention if he's complaining, he must have totally missed the couple "Back to the Grave" nights where it was strickly old school goth and deathrock. Also two years ago we had Convergance here. I think The Brides just played a show, too.
Yeah, that's probably what she's missing. She's not too much into the newer EBM stuff.
Oh, I really should have also mentioned that other clubs have poped up the last year or so as well. At least two have.
For concert tours Chicago has plane tickets to Canada.
Yeah, that's what I hear lol
Whoa, the Power Puff Girls got a makeover.
is the tall one male or female? I am thinking male just due to the tallness, but then again I am a tall girl, its just hard to tell..
They all look so happy, that is very ungoth of them....
They seem to be part perki-goth, judging from some of the bright colors.
And I've seen plenty of goths get that happpy, but it's only when they're
a) in the company of a lot of their goth friends
b) very drunk.
This situation seems to fit both criteria.
i like to smile...
and i'm usually happy...even at work. no drugs or friends required.
at least they're not looking gloomy.
Squiggle straws are SO HARDCORE!!!
'twould be cooler if all of their drinks matched their hair
I think they're cute. ;-)
If my memory of the room serves me correctly, this was taken in the hotel that C10 was booked into in Chicago. I can't for the life of me remember the name of the place but it was a grungy little property very close to Grant Park...seemed to be perpetually on strike? So - these may be C10 attendees and not from Chicago.
I kind of want to collect the set and never take them out of the shrinkwrap.
three out of four models come with decorative handle bars!!!
Heh; that tall one looks like a girl I went to high school with.
I like the hot topic bags...they totally finish off the look.
Good work spotting that! The Sisterhood of the Yarn-tails might have just wanted new fishnets and black polish, and then again...
yarn ≠ hair.
but it's good that they're dispelling the theory that goths, while trying to be unique, actually all look alike.
way to go.
